This loaded hummus plate is the ultimate take on hummus. After years of development, we have discovered the perfect ratio of each ingredient, and of course, the flavor is further elevated by authentic Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Creamy hummus comes together with crispy roast chickpeas and fresh vegetables to make a dish that tastes like an elevated tradition. Perfect for all your party, event, and charcuterie needs!

Ingredients

Hummus Base

  • 2 15 oz cans of chickpeas, reserve water from 1 can 
  • 1 C tahini 
  • 3 cloves garlic 
  • 1 lemon, juiced 
  • 2 t salt 
  • ½ t cumin 
  • 2 T Kosterina extra virgin olive oil, plus more for drizzle 

Toppings 

  • ½ can chickpeas, roasted 
  • ½ small shallot, finely diced 
  • ½ C cherry tomatoes, quartered 
  • ¼ C Kosterina olives, whole or diced 
  • 1 - 2 radishes, cut into small triangles 
  • lemon wedges,  cut into small triangles 
  • microgreens, for garnish 
  • red chili flakes, sprinkled 
  • edible flowers, for garnish 
  • Kosterina extra virgin olive oil, to drizzle 

Instructions

    In a blender add all ingredients (including the reserved water) to make the hummus base. Blend until smooth, then transfer to a preferred serving platter. Use the back of a spoon to make swirls within the platted hummus.

    Garnish with toppings in a “c” shape. Then drizzle with Kosterina extra virgin olive oil. Enjoy with naan bread, pita bread, or pita chips!
